How Did Your Garden Grow?

Most of us don't keep track of how much food comes out of our garden through the growing season, much less weigh it all. It’s good to know how much food you’re producing–keep records from year to year of what you’re planting and how much food it produced. It’s fun to look back on and can come in handy if ever applying for grant funds for your garden. And maybe most important it’s a good tool to help plan next year’s garden.

Here’s a spreadsheet that will help you estimate how much food you produced based on how much of which type of plants you grew. This is an estimate of course, you may want to make adjustments if it was a particularly good or bad year for certain produce.
